Hello!

A bit about me...

​

• I’m a published poet - Cow (Osmosis Press, 2022), The Chips Are Down Here in Lockdown (OrangeApple Press, 2021)

• I’m the founder and editor of literary journal Skirting Around www.skirtingaround.org

• I graduated from the University of Glasgow’s prestigious MLitt in Creative Writing with a Distinction.

• I’ve worked with published authors, award winning poets, life coaches as well as first time writers and students.

• I’m a jobbing writer, so I understand the pitfalls of rejection and the elation of acceptance and how to keep going through all of this.

• I started writing in my late forties. Before that I was - in no particular order - an EFL teacher in Japan, a waitress, a distillery tour guide and a local newspaper reporter. It is NEVER too later to follow your dreams!
